Moving to Nola

I’m currently a sophomore electrical engineer LSU student wanting to live and work in New Orleans in the next three years . However , I’m from / have roots in Springfield/ Hammond Louisiana and Baton Rouge and am used to having lawns. I want to have a lawn with a big yard and I’m yet to see that everytime I visit this city. Is New Orleans the place for me if I desire this or should I move to Atlanta or something or just stay in Baton Rouge .
