Why are starting cards still randomised in 2026?

I’ve been playing the game on and off for 10 years now (got the badge yesterday I think) and find it crazy that this has never been changed this whole time.

Yes I am mainly posting this as a rant because I just played against someone using mega knight early and my pekka was at the back of my starting cards, but I still find it baffling considering its a pretty competitive game, its just needless RNG. Is there any legit reason for why it should be in the game?
