Tips for job search/improving at work
Hi all,
I feel like I’m drowning in my professional life (yet again) and have just been told I’m going to be put on a formal performance plan next week. I think this is my sign to find a new job (where hopefully I don’t constantly feel like I’m drowning) but I can’t afford to quit this job before I find a new one - and I can’t afford to get fired either - I’m going to need a reference for a new job.
Does anyone have tips for managing the executive function nightmare of updating a CV, applying for jobs, preparing for interviews, etc, all while trying to maintain a current job enough that I won’t get fired? Do I try and outsource the job search as much as possible by going to a recruiter?
