2026 1958 Landcruiser or Keep 2012 GX460?

Currently have a '12 GX460 with 122k miles. I've had it since new and wanted to replace it with a GX550 ... until I realized prices have also climbed quite a bit since '12!

The 1958 Landcruiser is much more in my price range and quite frankly, I don't mind cloth seats, no power seats, no sunroof, etc. And that car just felt so right - being so spartan - when I took it on a test drive.

Only concern is whether I'd miss the V8 (given that the hybrid I4 has more power than the V8, I don't think I will), but wanted to get this subreddit's collective wisdom. I thought about the LCLC with premium package, but then the prices go quite close to a GX550, in which case I might as well get that one.

So am I crazy for wanting to trade-in my '12 for the '26 1958 Landcruiser?
