Locked out of Microsoft account for mc,might lose everything

As title says. Recently switched from ps4 to ps5 and transferred everything. There’s two different games for ps4 and ps5 listed on the console and thankfully I can still choose the ps4 one with no problem but the ps5 one makes me do a Microsoft sign in. The only problem is the Microsoft account I’ve been using is my stepbrothers who I no longer talk to and haven’t for years. I don’t have the password or even the exact email. As I said I can still play the ps4 version and I don’t really know the difference right now but still scares me I don’t want to lose everything I’m wondering if anyone knows a way I can just get the account signed in on the ps5 version from the PS4 one? Or at least are my worlds safe since it’s still on my console data and psn? Even if nobody has an answer I’d still like to be pointed to somewhere I can get help thank u.
