How do we make socialist labels digestible to the Nepali masses again?

I travelled to my village for the elections recently and talked with many people regarding their perception of the communist parties in Nepal and communism in general. They seem totally averse to the idea and the labels of socialism (Maobadi, Communist, Marxist - Leninist) itself.

This is to be expected as the communist parties of Nepal have failed vehemently, which shouldn't be a surprise seeing how easliy they accepted electoralism. The people feel betrayed by the movement and rightfully so.

I think we need to repackage the ideas through a different unheard of label, so that people will not be immediately dismissive of the ideas.

This would require a separate body of literature to be published and distributed as a different flavor of socialist philosophy, without changing the crux of the idea (similar to what Mao has achieved).

Please share your opinions on this.
