In-house designers: Do you post portfolio work you do at your job on your social media? How does your employer take it?

Question for people working in-house:

Do you post work you do at your job in your social media (IG and linkedin) for portfolio reasons?

Do you ask for permission from your workplace first (of course) ?

But then how do you frame your request to prevent them thinking you are trying to find another job?

Do you frame it as another way to market their content?
