Upstairs Neighbors

Hey guys, genuine question here: My upstairs neighborhood stomps around ALL F*CKING DAY. They're walking from bedroom to kitchen to living room to guest room to bathroom and back, damn near every hour of the day. And they don't just walk, they STOMP around.

I left a very kind note asking if they would consider walking a tad-bit more gently, and that I understand it's not totally their fault the floors are thin (I really tried to be nice). But, after leaving it, they continue to stomp.

My question is: For anyone that walks a lot in their apartment all day, what in the world do you do? When I'm home I'm usually sitting/lying down, do other people have different home routines that are opposite of that?
