Too many tweeters?

Hey everyone,

New to the car audio thing and just got went to a car audio shop and took the suggestion from the owner to get a Sony AX3200 aftermaeket head unit, Kicker KS speakers front and rear, and Kicker tweeters. (subaru outback limited 2014) After it was hooked up when I tested it out driving, it was hurting my ears at lower/mid volume (like ear pressure feeling and pain). I called him up to tell him, he said that he could fix it but he was unable to after trying. After some research, turns out he installed Kicker KS coaxle speakers in the front and rear, as well as putting in Kicker aftermarket tweeters in the dash. That being 6 tweeters?! Is this normal? I'm new to this stuff and it seems I he put in way too many tweeters. Seems frusterating that I paid all that money and it pierces my ears. he would not install compenente speakers. Any thoughts or suggestions? Cheers.
