Do online opinions reflect real-life views about Korea?
I understand that most people around the world don’t really care about us. But it feels like people in Asia, in particular, genuinely dislike us. I know every country has good people and bad people. Still, I don’t understand why some Asians seem to apply a double standard to us.
They call us discriminatory, but they often ignore the discrimination directed at us. Lately, it feels like they dislike us no matter what—like even when we haven’t done anything wrong, they still start from a place of hatred. It feels like whatever we do, we’re going to be hated anyway.
Honestly, it’s starting to make me feel scared to travel. Am I being overly sensitive?
