you got your first apartment today

i’m so proud of you. the man that you were before you left and the man that you are now is unparalleled. i know we’re not together anymore, but i’m glad you’re still telling me about your accomplishments in life. i really, truly mean when i say im so happy for you. i doubted that the military would change you, and it some ways it hasn’t, but in some ways it has. i love you and again im so proud of you for reaching one of your goals you probably thought you wouldn’t reach for a long time. if junior year you saw you now, he’d be in awe. good shit bro
