Am I bugging or did sims used to get jealous of their partners being romantic with anyone else?

I stopped playing for a few years and recently came back and (HELLO this lighting update is insaneeeeee 😍😂) they just don’t seem to react or get jealous when their partner or spouse makes out or woohoo with anyone else. Was that ever a thing or did I imagine it? Looool
