What's happening with Trek on Amazon?

I'm in Japan using Japanese Amazon Prime with the limited Paramount extension on it, and I come to continue watching Star Trek Picard, but Season 1 is now "unavailible due to expired rights". Seasons 2 and 3 are still on though. What's going on?
