(vibefriday) homelabmon lightweight, peer-to-peer homelab monitoring in a single Go binary

Vibe Coded (Fridays!)

monitoring tool for my homelab that runs as a single binary with zero external dependencies (no Prometheus, no Grafana, no database server). Thought some of you might find it useful.

What it does:

- Auto-discovers devices on your network via ARP, mDNS, and SNMP

- Monitors CPU, memory, disk, network, Docker containers, and services

- Integrates with FRITZ!Box, Unifi, Home Assistant, Pi-hole, and pfSense

- Built-in web UI with dashboards, charts, and device management

- Peer-to-peer mesh – multiple instances sync automatically, no central server

- LLM chat (Ollama) to query your infrastructure in natural language

- Alerts via ntfy.sh and webhooks

- Encrypted credential store built in

Tech stack: Go + SQLite (embedded) + htmx + Alpine.js + Tailwind. No CGO, no containers required,

just drop the binary and run it.
