First car accident, I admitted full fault to my insurance but reviewing the dash cam otherwises suggested we are both at fault. How can I best explain now that ive already admitted fault?

Serious Replies Only

Hey, just feels like it never happened but it did.

Today in Dublin, I hit a gentlemans car when on a yellow box turning to the right and merging with the main road. I assume its all my fault as I did not see him. From my perspective I was driving slowly and in the middle of the road and everything clear. Then I just suddenly hit the dude and I panicked didnt know what to say. And I really felt its my fault. Like really bad I couldnt event think otherwise. I immediately called my insurance company and really panicked. This was yesterday.

Reviewing that dash cam video which I will submit to insurance in the morning, I see that he was going way to fast for a 30km road in the square where there are pedestrian crossing all corners. And I just really disnt see him on time. By the time we collided, he has already crossed the entire yellow box. At least thats what it seemed to me in the footage.

My car damage is the glass of the headlight on the left and a slight loose bumber at the front left.

His thoigh I hit him in between the two doors on the drivers side. Where the driver door glass only has shattered. There was no blood bur definely huge shock for the both of us I would say more for him as I feel hes got the worst of it from driver side. He'd really need huge repairment to that car.

In my video I am seeing that im after much more merged to the road then him (we were now almost facing the same direction). I am not hurt physically myself. I have admitted full fault out of panic. But now tracing the dash cam I think that im no longer full fault.

In the morning I will call insurance again. Can you help guide me into how I could best explain my situation? Id really appreciate this thank you.
