Please help me! New player!

So I just started playing a bit ago, and I really love this game! I am in fall year 1, and I am broke. Does anyone have tips on how to get rich quick? I don't want to buy much, especially animals because I am saving up for some stuff, and animals are hard sometimes. I also have not unlocked any special islands or whatever. I cannot farm because it is too late in the season to plant new crops. Please help me! Also sorry if this blob of writing does not make much sense! THANKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
