Is the spawn radio still a thing or not?

On the Bohemia wiki it says the radio class (RTO?) allows you to place a radio for the squad to use and spawn from, and that you can even just grab a radio from the armory, similar to original conflict mode. I've even read that they changed the rules to only allow 3 spawns at a time before it needs to regenerate. I just tried joining a match and using the radio and it only says, equip/pick up.

Am I missing something?
