Antihistamines

Ive been on zrytec for 3 weeks. Is it okay to just stop it or cut the dose in ahalf for afew days thab stop? I never knew there could be rebound from stopping antihistamines. But I think 3 weeks is considered normal for taking antihistamines everyday.
