Attended vs. Unattended Bots: What is your best analogy to explain the difference?

Attended Bots (The Digital Assistant): These run on your actual computer. You trigger them manually (like clicking a button or hitting a hotkey). They work with you, often pausing to ask for your input or letting you review something before they continue.

Unattended Bots (The Back-Office Worker): These run on a separate server or Virtual Machine (VM) in the background. They are triggered automatically (by a schedule, an incoming email, or an API call). They work 100% independently without any human intervention.

An Attended Bot is like a sous-chef standing next to you in the kitchen—you tell them to chop the onions while you stir the soup. An Unattended Bot is the night-shift cleaning crew—they come in at 2:00 AM, do their job perfectly in the dark, and are gone before you even wake up.

Which type do you actually prefer building?
