AITAH for refusing to kiss my bf after I discovered he hadn't been to the dentist in almost a decade?

This man is 50. We've been together for almost 4 years. He let it slip that he hadn't been to the dentist in a very, very long time. I didn't say anything at first but I guess my face said it all. He said something like "oh I shouldn't have said anything" and I blurted out "I can't believe I kiss you!"

I just can't get over it. I told him that I wouldn't kiss him til he got his teeth cleaned. He has some bs excuses about having a gag reflex issue and not having dental insurance (he's a business owner, so he's to blame for not having insurance). One of his closest friends is a dental hygienist, and he's not poor, so he could absolutely take care of this if he wanted to. And in fact he's been talking about it, because he thinks he needs a new crown or something, but he wants to go to Mexico at some unspecified point in the future. I mean, whatever, he can take care of it tomorrow or in 6 months or never, but I'm just not kissing him until he goes and gets a cleaning.

So he says I'm the asshole and is not spending any time at all with me and I guess we're breaking up?
