Parry a two handed enemy?

This definitely rings true for trying out everything for yourself. So I’ve always went with the information that you can’t parry two handed attacks. I parried 2 different blood fiends with one of their two handed attacks with the blood fiend arm. Is this special for this enemy only? or do I need to go find out for every other enemy as well? Lol - TIA
