Want to go into the medical field, but I can't even get myself to try anymore.
I'm struggling with my course work. Not comprehending it, I understand just fine and I know how to study, I just can't. I don't want to do anything. I did so well in my previous pre-req for this program I'm trying to get into at my local community college, but now I'm just scraping by with this new one. I don't want to study. I don't want to do anything. January was hell on earth for me and February wasn't much better, I kept falling behind. My home life isn't great and things, money, the problems I have with my mother, worsened. I'm on anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medication, have a therapist, but they can only do so much. My OCD has been tough to manage and cope with as well.
Here and there I can get myself to study, do well on some tests, but it's not enough. I'll sit in the library, finish up an assignment, and end up watching movies for hours. I don't want to think anymore. I can't fail this class, I have to get an A, my future literally depends on it. How do I keep studying and working and doing all the things I need to do when all my stressed out brain wants to do is rest and indulge in simpler things? I can't avoid the stress or fix it. I just really need to find a way to survive and succeed.
