The magic number 3

I think Hollywood is too obsessed with making everything into a franchise that they don't understand that once a movie franchise reaches the third installment they need to either a stop with the story and end it in a satisfying way or b make it so the next movie is the beginning of a new trilogy and story if it's a popular franchise they can incorporate new characters and have them kill off the original characters the ones I can think of off the top of my head are Harry Potter, fantastic beasts, star wars, descendants, zombies, high school musical, pirates of the Caribbean and the toy story franchises
