A bright blue arch, a step right into an odd reality straight from.. the eighties, you think its the eighties, we're both not sure lets be honest here... It leads straight into a black hallway, lit by buzzing blue neon strips that line the top and bottom of the walls. The hallways is rather long with several openings both left and right one could take. In your observations you've seen the same four gals pass, a boisterous red one always laughing loudly and leading the other three, a rather intelligent composed cyan one following straight behind nodding, a graceful yet visibly annoyed pink one who you swear takes a moment from the bicker to wink at you every time they pass by, and trailing behind the other three is an orange one with a distinct snaggle tooth always stopping to give you a glance as well and waving enthusiastically before running to catch up. Something you could only describe as a HUD floats above the portion of the maze showing a large map with 4 icons that track the ghosts and a yellow cheese wheel sitting outside of the map that moves forward when you stick your arm through it seeming to represent you.

You're not entirely unfamiliar with this place, the last time you stuck your head through to look down the two hallways immediately to your right and left out the door.. you didn't make it not a step forward before you fell over backwards from an immense information overload causing you to pass out... luckily you fell backwards, out of the maze, instead of into it. Your head now permanently filled with a manual-like set of quotes that describe the place... of which is THE MAZE, a realm that binds four souls to it: Blinky, Inky, Pinky, and Clyde. It operates similarly to a game of tag with one runner and four chasers, the four gals you've seen patrolling around and the four names you know. The runner gets three chances, each touch by one the chasers sending them back where they began the maze from. The runner can turn this dynamic on its head by using the power of one of the four ENERGIZERS in the corners, it can be held up to instills a fear in the four chasers allowing them to be sent back to the RECOUPERATION CHAMBER by the runner, the manual in your head advises it should be done by ripping their clothes... but you're sure there's other ways to do it. The ENERGIZER also drastically boosts the runner's stamina and speed for a while. The runner must collect all of the small orbs or as the manual calls them DOTS in the maze by simply touching them, each small orb allowing the user to run just a little longer allowing them to be used as one-time boosts in quick succession. Once all PELLETS are collected the game flips on its head permanently with the roles reversing to one chaser and four runners.

You begin the game by entering this archway, an invitation sent by something for you to participate in this game. Clear consequences are outlined in the block of text swirling in your head. By completing the game three times: the arch stays open, you becoming the care-taker of the realm essentially coming to own the women within. Able to befriend them, play the game more, bring comforts from your realm to them, or allow them into your world within a certain radius. By losing the game three times: The arch stays open, put onto a timer until an EXTRA LIFE is given to the player which allows a new attempt with only being able to be caught once until the game is over once more. The player can explore the arch while the game but if the game isn't being played ENERGIZERS nor DOTS are available making it infinitely harder and recommended against unless the player likes being "bullied" as the manual states.
