Just spitballing to find ideas

Pros:

* Completely agnostic of mage damage reworks to fix shadow
* Has the potential to be competitive with current Megas against existing monsters, with clear design space for future bosses to control exactly how powerful it is through weaknesses
* Finally gives a purpose to elemental weaknesses in end game pvm

Cons:

* Requires upgradescape to unlock full potential, maybe annoying to irons?
* Not immediately evident how powerful it is, unlike other megas
* Lacks \*\*omph\*\* factor

Here's some calcs on current scythe/bow/shadow DPS on monsters with existing elemental weaknesses, compared with DPS on those same monsters with a max melee + rapier level weapon with elemental weakness bonuses applied

|Monster (Weakness)|Current Weapon DPS|Proposed Spellbinder DPS|
|:-|:-|:-|
|Xarpus (50% Air) (full defense reduction)|Scythe 14.59|15.9|
|KBD (50% Water)|Tbow 11.2|12.3|
|Cerberus (40% Water)|Scy + Inq 13.68|14.34|
|Olm Melee Hand (50% Earth)|Scythe + Oath 10.92|11.54|
|Phosanis Totems|Shadow 23.25|17.56|
|Verzik p3 (50% Fire)|Scythe 11.81|12.1 (rapier slash stats)|
|Vorkath (40% Fire) (salve)|Dragon Hunter Lance 12.12|12.43|

These are just some random ones I calc'd. Generally, monsters with higher defense still prefer current megas because elemental weaknesses only apply to damage and not accuracy. Monsters with more manageable defense see closer DPS, starting to trail off towards current megas below 30-40% weaknesses. Monsters with no defense at all (mostly slayer monsters) get a big buff. Doesn't stack neatly with slayer helm because you're sacrificing strength bonus from torva or oath to wear a slayer helmet. Does cascade with additional strength bonus buffs in the future, but so does Scythe when it gets to 52 max hit. Please forgive if i fucked up DPS calcs manual mode is a pain in the ass
