Is there a homebrew that can load dvds without the green screen in rgb ?

I looked around on google etc but i see lots of conflicting information and redirections to dead links.

i have a pal PS2 slim 75000 hacked with freemcboot on memory card and i have mechapwn which made it region free. I use an RGB Scart cable on a CRT for the best quality, however the dvd playback turns green when using RGB.
looking online, it seems it occurs because the dvd player when in scart automatically switches to component output, even if we use rgb scart as some kind of "copy protection" against VCRs.
honestly i'd like some easy homebrew i can just run via free mcboot to patch my dvd player to make it output proper rgb
