AITAH for feeling extremely upset at my boyfriend saying I would be a boring wife
for context, I wanted him to plan a date and he hasn't come up with ideas that we both like. We have planned pretty equally, if not me a bit more, but I just wanted him to show he cared enough to plan so I asked him to. As he says museum this that I'm just not feeling it and I'd rather do smaller things that are more meaningful to me, such as crafts and arts related ones. I am a vert crafty person. He says, I never want to do anything fun and I would be a boring wife, and exaggerates to the point that when were married and he wants to go out and do something I would say no and only want to do crafts and arts. Mind you, I've been to a drive in theater with him, went to Busch gardens with him, been ice skating, gone out to bars and functions and frats, done so many things but I can be more of a homebody sometimes.
I got really upset, and started crying and feeling like I was super unappreciated. He was j like "why are you crying" and every time I said he j said I would be a boring wife and attacked my personality, he would just double down on his words saying I would only want to do arts and crafts for the rest of my life. I am pre-med, hopefully a doctor in the future. I have aspirations, goals, and sometimes I want to relax and still have a fun time doing something. Musuems, unless they're cool art ones, aren't for me. I dont care too much for history museums, I could be interested if I go, but It's not something I choose to do day to day.
Is him saying that valid, and I am truly a boring b that he somehow wants to date, or am I valid for being upset at him.
