For those who don't know her, this is Chise from an anime known as "Saikano" or "she, the ultimate weapon" , was made in 2002 by Gonzo studios, it's a romance, sci-fi and a war drama anime, one of my fav animes of all time..

It talks about the ordinary girl Chise, at time japan was at war with some unknown opposed forces, Chise was dragged by the Japan self defense forces who kidnapped her and made her a subject for their ultimate plan.

The plan was to make her the ultimate weapon, they turned her into a cyborg that is forced to fight with them at their current war, Chise accepts this but the story goes as this job conflicts with her romantic daily school life where she can't balance between the two, the show has such a great ending.

But for the most important point of this post, when I learned about nowe and his origins the first thing that came to my mind is Chise, these two shares a similar themes, like being made into an ultimate weapon by government or civilization to fight against some unknown
Enemy to them, and how their feelings conflict with this because these two never wanted to be in that rule at the same time, nowe never wanted to be the saviour he was told he is, Chise never wanted to become a cyborg to protect japan she just wanted to live her normal life with her lover.

I know they don't have that much similarities but I just wanted to point that out.

Nowe reminds me of Chise
