Collecting things in the hospital

I've noticed that when I take stuff from the hospital vending machines, put it in a house/other building, and return to the hospital, the vending machine is full again. I've repeated this process maybe ten times just to see what would happen, and it looks like the hospital's vending machines give infinite items? I'm just wondering if anyone knows if they have a limit.

Asking because I'm working on collecting and organizing every free item in the game (instead of, say, catching up on all the lessons I missed -__- like fr where, what, how, and why is a magnetic field). I'll post the final results if I ever finish and if anyone is interested.
