Do you NEED tilt table test for a diagnosis? Been hearing different things

Question

So I was diagnosed about 2 weeks ago. I did blood work and everything looked normal, I got put on a zio patch for 2 weeks. My doctor noticed patterns when I’d press my button and log symptoms with the activity I’m doing. Such as going down the stairs and my heart rate rising rapidly, etc. Along with my symptoms on why I was trying to figure out what’s wrong with me (fluttering/palpitations, out of breath during certain activities/easily, fast heart rate etc). From my symptoms, to the timing and heart rate and from what she saw on the monitor, my doctor said I have pots. I also did an ‘at home’ test and laid down, my heart rate was 74, when I stood up it quickly went to 140, at that point it was pretty obvious.

Anyway, I’m in a support group on social media and said how I felt the relief of finally being diagnose and everything making so much sense now, someone responded and said I probably don’t have it, and that a tilt table test is absolutely required and other tests are also needed and I should see a different doctor. And that you don’t get diagnosed with just a monitor and that it’s not enough. Now I almost feel back from square one second guessing like is there something else wrong? I feel like I trust my doctor, and everything seems to fit the criteria, but at this point I’m not even sure anymore lol, can it be diagnosed with a heart monitor without the tilt table test? Do I really need to see someone else?
