Cat pees everywhere

My cat was diagnosed with intestinal lymphoma and was already peeing all over the house. Two days ago, he started antibiotic and cortisone therapy. It's true that he drinks a lot, but he wasn't exactly peeing everywhere, every now and then before starting the therapy. Could this be due to this? The blood tests done just before starting this therapy (3 days ago) were good, showing no evidence of organ failure.
