How to actually find a girlfriend nowadays?

Hi all, I’ve been single for a while since my last relationship and was wondering how people actually find a girlfriend these days.

For context, I’m in my mid-20s, graduated from a top UK uni, solid physique, above average looks, fairly tall (180+ cm), in a relatively high paying stable job with good WLB but I voluntarily work OT and weekends to try and climb faster. I’ve had normal relationships and friendships in the past so I think my personality is fine.

I just don’t feel like I have much opportunities to meet people. My social circle has shrunk alot after dating my ex and starting work so the ‘friends intro friends’ route isnt something available to me. I also don’t really wanna use dating apps as I feel like they are pretty superficial and I don’t know if I can find a stable loving relationship that way. I’ve tried some interest groups but there aren’t too many romantic opportunities either.

I’m not in a rush or desperate to find someone, I’m okay to just grind career for now, but I would prefer if there are more opportunities to actually meet someone.
