Unistalled whatsApp accidentally, and the recent messages aren't showing up even after 'Backing up'..

So I've accidentally uninstalled whatsApp today, and reinstalled it. But my messages from 2025 started appearing instead of the recent ones.

I didn't panic, and went to setting straight, to back up the chats. At this point, I was so desperate, that I didn't see any prior settings and pressed the 'Back up' button immediately.

I took some time, and was completed after a while. But to my shock, they remained the same, as I thought those recent messages would reappear as I had some important files and media.

After some YouTube, I've tried changing the Email account to which my phone number is registered to. Even after that, I still remained the same.

What do I do?
