Did this performance happen or is it Mandela effect?

Please help me solve a years-old argument between me and my brother:

Did Gorky's perform on a Saturday morning kids' tv show? (A national UK one like Live and Kicking, not on S4C or anything). The premise being that some kid had written in complaining that they always had pop acts on performing and never any indie.. the presenter almost facetiously then goes.. 'well here you go, (Brian), how about Gorky's Zygotic Mynci??'.. pan to Gorky's performing... something.. to a bemused audience of kids and young teens. The band then have to awkwardly hang around for most of the rest of the show for stuff like the phone-in.

Did I make this all up.. I can't find any evidence of it happening.
