At my wits end with Amana Dryer
I've had our Amana NED4800VQ for over a decade. Fixed every issue that came up myself. Heating elements, cleaning timer contacts from arcs, you name it. Last year, I changed the belt, idler pulley and rollers when I incorecctly diagnosed a brokern blower fan (first time on all those parts). Well earlier this week the newish belt snapped. I replaced it noticed a ton of belt shavings all over. Well it worked for a day and the new belt just snapped again. I replaced all the rollers, pulley and put a new belt on it but I'm noticing the drum just isn't sitting the best when it's all put together. I have roller axels coming today but I'm getting ready to throw the towel in if that doesn't fix it. Motor spins just fine, it's the drum itself that I don't feel is seated priperly. Any tips welcome from you pros!
