What is happening in the UK?

So I’ve heard lots online about how abdl content is now banned in the UK or is going to be banned? I’ve assumed it stretches to illustrations but also told it isn’t. There seems to be a a lot of confusing assumptions made and no link provided seems to shine much actual light on the subject.

So I would just like to know:

-is Abdl content already banned or is it just proposed to be banned?

-If It’s only proposed when will we find out what decision has been made?

-does it extend to illustrations like comics and such.
