The show wasted too much time on Lana/Clark instead of Lois/Clark

I love the Lois/Clark dynamic and I wish the show spent more time developing and exploring their relationship the way Lana/Clark was explored. Lana was portrayed as this heart stopping love and i'm not sure why it was necessary to invest this much time into her character when we could have spent it with Lois!
