WF-1000XM5 mic quality vastly improved

I own WF-1000XM5 earbuds for over 2 years now and use them daily for MS Teams calls via Windows11 laptop, music & podcasts during walks & workouts in a gym & sometimes for calls. I have compared them against Samsung Buds2 Pro & Buds3 Pro during phone calls in the past & both Samsung models outperformed XM5 with mic performance during the call. That was until about November 2025, when the last firmware update was pushed by Sony. Now, XM5 significantly outperform Buds2 Pro & is close to Buds3 Pro (which is awesome for 70-85 dB noise level calls). My voice no longer gets that robotic & inaudible during calls in noisy places. Is it just me or the mic quality on XM5 was THAT improved from that last update (v. 6.0.1)?
