med school experience (with an ed)

Sorry this isn’t really the best place to put this but I’ve not got anywhere else. I was wondering if anyone here has experience of going to med school and with an eating disorder ? I have anorexia and have had for years. I was physically recovered for about 8 months but mentally it just never improved and I’ve relapsed pretty hard. Not only am I panicking about exams and things but the med school experience. It’s obviously a demanding course and I want to be able to cope but trying to recover rn would probably put me in a worse position in terms of academics. I would love to hear from people with any eating disorder but even just mental illnesses would be really helpful as I experience other illnesses. I just feel like I’m not going to be a great doctor.

also in terms of occupational health did anyone have any issues with this? I am thinking about deferring so I can have a year but I’m just really worried abt everything.
