What was the sins plan for the civilians?

Idk even know where to start with this one, why did the sins plan seem so half assed for the civilians?

Yeah evacuation is fine but to where!? Just outside the city and leave them there out in the open…… lmao and to add insult to injury no one thought to leave a sin behind to watch other them. Why not have the two sins with large AOE skills watch over them? And if they can’t afford to watch over them

King could’ve easily made a pollen Garden shield (this technique was able to defend against almost anything in the series btw) and still have access to more spears to help fight cath OR

have Diane make a giant earth dome and some gollums for extra protection

Also why on earth is Mel suddenly hesitant to use his demon powers!? It’s not like bro is a human that has access to dark powers …. He’s literally a demon it’s part of his nature. I’m so confused 😵‍💫 bro literally almost died holding back before Elizabeth healed them.
