Pls help: my mix is driving me insane

He is constantly bored, acting mischievous (getting into things, chewing), and demand barking. I don’t know what else he wants from me!! Hes almost 2. I know part of it is his age and breed mix. He wakes me up early every fucking day and wants to play at 6am. And also at 8pm… I play games with him, he gets a pupsicle daily, he has a million toys, plays with his sister (German Shepherd), gets plenty of attention/play, a daily walk, and its still never enough. However, I do work full time and my partner is disabled and stays home, but she can’t really do much with him. She says hes perfect all day until I get home. He purposely does things that annoy me for attention. He will look me straight in the eyes and start chewing the couch. He also does this to his sister who sees herself as the House Monitor (lol).

He has a past leg injury which makes any more strenuous exercise difficult. Hes also on a diet, so I am trying to limit treats. Please give me some tips! Or maybe some ideas that my partner can do during the day to help tire him out? Her mobility isnt great so she cant do walks :/
