How to locate missing Pokémon?

I accidentally cut down Slowpoke’s habitat and now I can’t find him. Can’t use honey obviously since he has no home now, and when I search for him using the Pokédex, other Pokémon just say “sorry, I haven’t seen him”. Is he gone forever? I’ve been looking for almost half an hour now, he’s literally not anywhere.
