Planning to buy 3 student rental houses in Oxford with inheritance, is full property management worth it?

I will likely inherit around £1.2 million after tax, and I want to invest it in property. My idea is to buy three houses in Headington, Oxford (around £400k each) and rent them out to students, because they come and go, usually always pay rent and i believe it's easier to fill up the rooms.

I don’t live nearby and don’t want to deal with the day-to-day management, I’m considering asking a real estate agency to manage 100% of the rentals.

My questions are:

1. Is it common or trustworthy to let an agency manage everything while I just collect the rent?
2. What percentage do agencies usually charge for full management in the UK?
3. Are there any risks I should be aware of with student rentals specifically?

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone with experience managing student rentals or working with letting agencies.
