Not all attendants are the same. Tip wisely.
Hiya, I've been on the Texas Eagle for about 32 hours. Starting from Ontario California to Austin Texas, when I first started my trip my sleeper attendant helped me with my bags, which I'm super grateful for. She helped with the lighter ones.
She ended up getting off the train in San Antonio, Texas and a different attendant took her place.
Ooof, I made sure to tell her that I was losing the sleeper when we got to Austin but I had a coach seat because I was headed to Temple Texas. She proceeded to tell me that I would have to get off the train and re-board, which ngl kind of sucks because I packed a bit. I'm going to be in Texas for a month.
I ended up tipping her because she got my breakfast for me. It's my first time on the train and I wanted to enjoy some of the cool amenities. Like having breakfast delivered to your room.
I'm not saying I shouldn't have tipped her, but I wish I didnt tip her so much.
