SKIBACS membership

So I had been a member of this club paying dues for 3+ years. I specifically do this to get access to the crystal mountain discount code they give out to members every year. Last year they blasted the discount code out for free all over Boeing which annoyed me because it’s what I pay for. So this year I didn’t renew my membership (they also coincidentally turned off auto renew for some reason) and then they didn’t give the discount code out like the previous year. I’m really struggling to justify paying dues if they are going to do stuff like this regularly. Does anyone else have similar experience? Is there a reason they do this?
