I feel like my pansexuality is a barrier to relationships

Need Advice :snoo_thoughtful:

Hello, I ( F19) am a french pansexual woman. I define my pansexuality as a complete disinterest in a person's gender and physical appearance; in short, I'm truly attracted to someone for their personality and nothing else.

However, I've only ever been in relationships with women so far, and only one of them was a lesbian.

I've had the opportunity to chat with women who were interested in me, but when I shared that I was pansexual, the conversations ended abruptly.

I'm aware that there's a fair amount of biphobia within the community, and I suspected it might be the same for pansexual people.

Have you had similar experiences? Is it really that difficult to find a woman who is attracted to women and open to relationships with a pansexual or bisexual person?
