How do you guys resist the urge to keep texting/contacting during a conflict?
My partner hasn't texted me since yesterday afternoon-ish because we got into an argument. I was upset because they had made plans later in the evening with a friend, even though they had already made plans with me; truthfully, I didn't communicate my feelings as well as I could/should have, which upset them. I wasn't calling them names or accusing them of anything, but I wasn't being nice or careful with my words.
They cancelled our plans, which hurt my feelings even more, and since then they haven't answered me at all. It's incredibly upsetting because I've told them that radio silence with no explanation is super upsetting to me. I have texted them more than I'd have liked to, but they still aren't responding or even acknowledging (like hearting my messages)at all. I know it isn't their responsibility to fix this... so does anyone have any skills to help me stop acting so borderline? I've already made the situation bad enough
