Legal sufficiency review USCG

Medboard/IDES :rsz_1rsz_10_e5rvvtlxz6ch:

My MEB/IDES is at the "Legal sufficiency" review part, I signed my 4808 with my attorney and accepted the findings and ratings of the PEB/VA. I signed on 11FEB26 and they said it could take up to 3 weeks, it's now over 3 weeks. I'm contemplating getting my congressman involved, everyone else that I've known at this point has taken less than 2 weeks to get their separation authorization after signing their 4808.

My congressman helped with the VA claim by calling in on my behalf and I got my ratings back 4 days after he called. But the MEB has been kind of dragging now, and his office called and asking if everything was moving along and I said "not really" (It helps that my father went to K-12 with him and was friends with him, kind of like an old friend). I don't want to use him like that again, I also want this process to not take longer than it's supposed. Just trying to get an idea of what's normal?
