Want to hear what my 24/7 submissive has to say about me as a findomme?
My devoted service sub (and IRL partner) wrote me this lovely essay about what it's been like to watch me in the findom world:
"As someone whose foundation in the kink community traces back to online-exclusive D/s, I’m no stranger to the power of a connection that exists beyond physical touch. I’ve always understood that "real" kink doesn't require being in the same room. For years, however, I did keep my distance from one aspect of often online-only kink: findom. To be blunt, it felt like the one corner of kink space that had been entirely and irrevocably consumed by "get rich quick" scammers and low-effort interactions.
To maintain that bluntness... I was wrong. And it took falling in love with a woman who embodies the core of that dynamic, executed from a place of passion, to see why.
To be clear, my role in our relationship is not that of a financial submissive. But as her partner and a fellow explorer in D/s, I have the privilege of witnessing how her mind works over the course of countless discussions on the topic. As a woman with a perfectly good job and lofty career aspirations, she doesn't find value in the "take"; the true reward lies in the consideration. For her, there is a deep significance in being thought of during the "in-between" moments of life. When a submissive offers service in a truly selfless way, it's an affirmation that she remains not just present on the sub's mind but, in fact, a priority.
That said, it's not my intention here to evangelize findom as a pursuit, especially to anyone who's been burned in the past. But like so many other areas of kink, I imagine some already in the space often find themselves wondering whether there are any dommes out there who actually derive pleasure from the act and not just the cash and gifts themselves. I can assure you there's at least one. Her interest in this kink is visceral and authentic. It isn't about greed; it’s about being prioritized in a way that requires real-world effort and sacrifice from the submissive. Perhaps most importantly, findom is but a single piece from which a greater dynamic can be built, and I see her desire for that.
In closing, I’m glad I was wrong. Watching my love navigate this space with such sincerity has been a masterclass in what financial D/s can actually look like when it’s stripped of the cynical noise and cultivated into something more than "send, insult, repeat." It turns out that when you find a dominant who values the devotion more than the dollar, the entire dynamic changes. I feel honored and blessed to know her, to love her, and to serve her every single day."
