Does anyone else unfocus their eyes when sketching?

Concept/Technique/Method

I have found it helpful to unfocus my eyes, so that I just see a general blur on the paper, when sketching out the initial outlines.

Somehow, it helps me focus on an "internal vision" that I have of the subject, and be able to visually match up my WIP sketch with that internal vision.

I don't know if it makes any sense to anyone else, but I started doing this recently and found it helpful. Does anyone else do this too? Thanks. You have worth and value as a human being, don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. You are not human garbage.
